In 2003 Ashley and Chris were the founders of TechDigest, which was the first UK blog aimed at at a mainstream consumer audience. Today Shiny Media has eight of the most profile blogs in the UK (including Shiny Shiny, TV Scoop and Shiny Style) which have a combined audience of over 1.5 million readers each month. Shiny also has one of the most successful British YouTube channels and its videos have been viewed more than 33 million times.
Ashley is also a part owner of Anorak Publishing, which boasts in Anorak and Whoateallthepies two of the fastest growing websites in the UK. In July 2011 the two sites notched up more than two million readers between them.
In early summer 2011 we launched our first digital/iPad magazine in Technode. An interactive mixture of words, images and videos the magazine was a hit on the app store and was downloaded many times from sites like Magcloud and Scribd.
