cma-squareContent marketing for the Content Marketing Association - The CMA are the trusted authority on content marketing in the UK and represent many large customer publishing agencies.

For several years now we have been providing digital content for the company’s website, focusing on how innovations, web applications and technology can provide opportunities for branded content providers.

Sutro also works with the CMA in creating content from their influential live events such as their monthly digital Breakfasts and their annual Content Summit.

Screen Shot 2014-02-19 at 16.54.17Using content to create a community from scratch – BDT – After winning a pitch Sutro worked with Blackdogtribe.com (BDT) – an online community set up by Ruby Wax for those affected by mental health issues.

Throughout the process we worked closely with Ruby Wax to produce videos for the website and wrote daily news articles relating to mental health and the latest research in the field.

We also created and managed the Twitter profile and Facebook Page, building the communities to 5,000 and 7,000 strong respectively in just a few months, before handing it over to the in-house team.

basildon-academiesUsing content, tech and advertising to reinvent the school website - We are immensely proud of the Basildon Post (BP) a unique project which Sutroe created and now manages for the Basildon Academy schools.

The BP is a mobile friendly site uses videos, listicles and games to entertain and inspire secondary school age kids from Basildon.

It also boasts a bespoke gamification feature – which allows pupils to notch up points for engaging with the site by commenting, competing in competitions and writing articles.

The site is funded by a unique form of native advertising that enables local business too tap into the creativity of the children to promote their products and services.

Sutro plans to roll out the Post’s template (and its gamification and advertising features) to other schools and academies shortly.

Carte Blanche- We have worked on several campaigns for the UK’s leading greeting cards/gifts company. This includes content creation and community management and media/blogger liaison surrounding the launch of their social game, Me to You My Place.

Argos - Our team wrote over 50 articles for the retailer’s content-driven website

Who Sold Where – We worked for this innovative property start up, advising on social media strategy and writing regular content.

IBM - We created a Facebook app for IBM’s Smarter Planet programme

Ford - We created content for Ford Europe’s Facebook page

We have also recently worked with a large German electronics company, a multi-national telecoms provider, a high profile hi-fi gear manufacturer, and a producer of Android apps.

And we also produced a magazine for the iPad and online.
